Steuben Brewing Company

Steuben Brewing Company was established in 2013 on old farm land on the west side of Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. Head Brewer Chad Zimar, a Finger Lakes native, interested in revisiting his creative roots of cooking and entrepreneurship, convinced his family to explore the idea of opening a brewery on a former vineyard. The timing, location of family land, and state of the craft beer industry were right to move the idea to a reality. SBC broke ground in October 2013 and opened in September 2014, becoming part of the New York State Farm Brewery movement that highlights the special taste and aroma of New York State grains and hops.
